A Full Plate

The full Moon rises this Friday at 12:39 A.M. EST, but it will be visible in the sky tonight. The Algonquin Nation calls this beautiful full moon the Beaver Moon, as this was when beaver traps were set before the back waterways and ponds froze. This was the last opportunity to add to the winter fur stores for the tribes and surrounding community. This moon, also known as the Full Frost Moon by other Nations, heralds the early onset of colder days and snow to come.

It is serendipitous that this bright full moon casts it light on the recognized day of gratitude and thanks. The brilliant rays of this moon can highlight the bounty and blessings in your life. Acknowledging the fullness in your life, letting go of things you no longer need and expressing gratitude enables even more blessings to flow to you. I give thanks for my life and all that I have, all I have learned and all I have released.  I am grateful for our friendship and fortunate that our paths have crossed, it is such an amazing rich journey.

Bright Full Moon Blessings,

Victoria
